Overview:

As we expand our Sales Office footprint, we are searching for a true go-getter with a strong passion for hospitality and desire to play a significant role in the overall success of our busy Sales & Catering Department. The position is perfect for a current Sales Coordinator looking to expand their knowledge and experience within the Catering world or a high performing individual that aspires to take the first steps into the Sales & Catering career path. The ideal candidate will not only keep the Sales Office running efficiently but will also assist our Weddings & Events Sales Manager in the everyday inner workings of our Catering department. You are helpful and organized by nature, with attention to detail, and excitement in being a part of a strong team dynamic.

Responsibilities:

-Answering phone calls to the sales office, both externally to the general public, as well as internally within other hotel departments
-Receiving and distributing sales leads according to deployment from multiple lead sources.
-Maintain accurate records of Sales Inquiries/Bookings within our Salesforce Sales System
-Assist Director of Sales & Marketing with internal and external Sales reporting
-Preparation of sales collateral and assisting Sales team with event space for client site visits and special events
-Route signed contracts and booking recaps to internal hotel departments.
-Track deposits and create files for all booked Group & Catering business.
-Assist Wedding & Events Sales Manager with deposit tracking/collection, floor plans and details for banquet event orders.
-Assist Wedding & Events Sales Manager with site visits, wedding tastings and client arrivals details.
-Responds to inquiries from clients, partners, and internal stakeholders in a timely, professional manner.
-Support the sales goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
-Attend hotel meetings as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Enjoys a fast-paced environment and oversees last-minute requests with ease.
-Able to oversee multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
-Strong verbal, written and computer skills required.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
-Maintains neat and organized workspace.
-Enthusiasm for hospitality sales and service is a must.
-Sales or event management experience in the hospitality or travel industry would be ideal, but support and training will be provided.
